Test Scoring and Reporting

Testing Services uses a 5000i NCS scanner and its own software for scanning and scoring faculty exams. Current faculty listed as the instructors of record in Banner and current students have access to our services. In order to use our scoring services, faculty must use NCS general purpose answer sheets, which are ordered through their departmental offices.

Faculty must bring their scan sheets and keys to our office (205 Student Services Center) and arrange them so that all sheets are facing the same way. Students must bubble in their names and CWIDs correctly on the scan sheet in order to have access to their scores via myBama, and the sheets must be completed in pencil. We provide envelopes for the papers in our office, and pertinent information must be provided when papers are dropped off (full name, department, course, section number, phone number, date, and test name).

Test results are accessed through myBama. Login and click on the Academics tab. Find the Testing Services channel, then click on the Faculty Services link.

Once results are posted, all scan sheets must be picked up by the instructors as soon as possible.

Please note that results are only posted for faculty viewing. In order for students to view their scores, faculty must click in the appropriate place to make their exams viewable by students.

Results are available through myBama for the current semester only.
