MA 113 PROBLEM SET

COURSE INFORMATION:

Precalculus Trigonometry — 3 hrs

Prerequisite: A grade of "C -" or higher in Math 112 or transfer credit equivalent to Math 112.

Description: Continuation of Math 112 - trigonometric functions, inverse trigonometric functions, trigonometric identities, and trigonometric equations, complex numbers, De Moivre's Theorem, polar coordinates, vectors, conic sections, sequences, and series.

Format: Math 113 is offered as a standard lecture course.

Who should take this course? The only students who should take Math 113 are students who need analytical calculus for their majors. This class is not recommended for students whose majors do not require calculus. After completing this course (including all prerequisite courses), students should be prepared to take calculus.
